JUHKLE GRANTS
Dr. Timothy & Mrs. Debbie Juhlke Charitable Junior Civitan International Fund
Thanks to a generous gift from the Juhlke family, struggling clubs can apply for a grant to help them be successful and further the mission of Junior Civitan International. Applications will be available this Fall.
The following grants will be available :
- Service Grants ($250 USD)
Available to Junior Civitan Clubs that find themselves needing additional funds to complete a service project or plan a fundraiser. Such club(s) is considered a “struggling” club as defined under the Fund as “an active Junior Civitan Club, otherwise in good standing with Civitan and Junior Civitan International, having less than twenty (20) members on record with Junior Civitan International.”
- Club Building Grants ($300 USD)
Who’s Eligible? An individual or club building a new Junior Civitan Club.
Service Grants and Club Building Grants are NEVER to be used to pay individual or club dues to the District or Civitan International, either current or past due. Funds are never to be used to pay any registration fee for any Area, District, Regional, or International meeting or convention of Junior Civitan International or any conference, meeting, or training fee sponsored by a third party, whether individual, group or organization.
Each grantee agrees to provide receipts to Junior Civitan International on behalf of the Juhlke Family Advisory Committee to support that the funds were used for the intended purpose and return any unused funds within the time-frame specified by Junior Civitan International on behalf of the Advisory Committee at the time of approval.
